As a Vice President for Asia-Pacific region, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, meet or exceed customer commitments, support corporate business objectives and contribute to continuous quality improvement within your client portfolio and across the larger organization.
The VP APAC is accountable for leadership and management of operational delivery for specific client(s) including project portfolio management, resource demand management and for ensuring effective delivery and execution of full service & FSP projects for their clients. As a leader within the organization, you will use your skills and experience to motivate your teams and secure these objectives, manage escalations through effective problem-solving while promoting strong cross-functional collaboration and partnership with the Client team and Account Leadership to ensure effective client engagement and management as the single point of accountability of projects.
In that capacity, as VP APAC you will be expected to identify potential project risks and implement contingency plans, mitigate actual risks with team members and ensure the client is informed about risks and contingencies.
As VP APAC, you will lead and / or line manage all levels of project leadership within the unit and will provide oversight of their respective matrix teams. Supporting activities include:
Measurements of success include Revenue Forecast Accuracy, Project Margin and Customer Satisfaction leading to repeated business.
Qualifications
Skills
Strong business and financial acumen.
Executive presence and ability to effectively build relationships with senior level clients, key stakeholders and represent CROMDS.
Proven ability to set objectives and priorities to implement solutions consistent with the long-term goals of the organization in a global environment, while considering opportunities and managing risks.
Demonstrated ability to ensure quality delivery to client commitments, optimize client experience and CROMDS margin across Programs/projects.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively influence key stakeholders, clients, senior leaderships and direct/ indirect team to drive high-quality results.
Build trust relationships with colleagues – transparency, inform stakeholders, ensure good decision making on behalf of CROMDS.
Support cross functional alignment. Demonstrated ability in building/ managing a team
Knowledge and Experience
12 years’ clinical research experience in Sponsor or CRO.
8 years’ experience managing employees and teams in a matrixed environment.
Education
Bachelor of Science, in scientific discipline preferred, advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
Travel
Travel up to 25%
